HOW TO DRAW A PUMPKIN – EASY STEP-BY-STEP

    Step 1

Draw an oval and an extended tail. This is the foundation of the pumpkin, as well as its stem.

    Step 2

On the oval-shaped form of the pumpkin, trace three lines vertically to divide it into two wedges.

    Step 3

Draw a face on the center of your oval. Draw the eyes on the upper area of the oval using triangles. Add the nose in between using the small triangle and above the nostrils, creating an oversized look and a crescent-shaped smile.

    Step 4

Let’s make the smooth contour of the pumpkin. Then, focus on the details of the stem and face. The first step is to create an even contour line around the pumpkin. Draw stripes across the pumpkin to create sections. You can make the lines more curved and interspersed within the center of the pumpkin. Be sure to stay clear of the face when creating these lines. We’ll make a look appear more precise using colored pencils.

To make the pumpkin appear more sly, create a slight curve in the eyes. Utilize similar lines to give an arching face on the face.

Include two teeth in your smile—one on the top and another below. We also changed the stem to appear more voluptuous. Get rid of any pencil lines from construction by using an eraser.

Our pumpkin’s body is complete with all the faces and lines that depict the body form in the shape of the pumpkin. It’s gorgeous!

    Step 5

The last step in this process is to color the eyes, the nose hole, and the inside of the mouth using black. This creates the appearance of the pumpkin’s face like it’s made of accurate holes for the look.

Then, we’re done! The creepy pumpkin is done. Perfect for Halloween.
